The Problem

A leading technology company wanted to create a panel of experts who could help the company better understand the current environment for mobile payments and mobile ecommerce. The company wanted to assess the future of the mobile payments industry, and learn about new technologies being developed and how best to apply those advances to their own platform. Unfortunately, with less than a week to go before the event, they had only confirmed a single participant.

The Solution

Maven immediately identified several qualified candidates for the panel, who the customer then interviewed via short Telephone Consultations. Of these, the customer selected 5 individuals to participate in the panel, and Maven arranged for those individuals to travel to the customer’s headquarters for the event. Each participant prepared a short presentation on their specific areas of mobile payments expertise. The total turnaround time from request to the Mavens being on-site was less than four days.

This was truly a diving catch. We were going to have to cancel the mobile payments event, but Maven stepped in and delivered exactly what we needed. When our Maven account manager said “piece of cake,” we were very skeptical, but within hours she had arranged everything to perfection.
