I would like to learn more about chemical resistance and test methods for aluminum materials. In particular, our team needs to understand the chemical exposure, longevity. and challenges associated with 6063-T5 Aluminum material. Our team is developing a new product with aluminum components that will mainly be used in hospital environments and these components will need to last at least 5 years. Chemical exposure will occur in cleaning processes including being showered, sprayed, or wiped down with pre-moistened wipes multiple times daily with chemicals like quat, hydrogen peroxide, bleach.
