At the beginning of each calendar year, we like to share some metrics about the previous year’s activity at Maven. In case you’re curious, here’s the 2010 summary we did last year. As engineers we’re inclined to measure virtually everything possible; Maven Members also frequently ask us to share whatever numbers we can, so we’ve got a good excuse to scratch our numbers itch.
While much of the data we’re asked about is proprietary (and therefore not suitable to publish here), we have pulled together a handful of 2011 numbers we can share:
28
Average duration of a Telephone Consultation in minutes. While there is a wide range, the average has been remarkably consistent for years.
$1200.00
Highest payment to a Maven for a single Telephone Consultation (30% increase over 2010).
$193.45
Average payment to a Maven for a Telephone Consultation (10% increase over 2010).
$18.66
Average Referral Commission paid for each Telephone Consultation (75% increase over 2010).
5
Average duration in minutes to complete an Electronic Survey.
$36.00
Average payment to a Member for an Electronic Survey response.
$100.00
Highest payment to a Member for an Electronic Survey response (the response took 10 minutes).
We hope you had an opportunity to participate and profit in 2011, and we look forward to offering you even more opportunities in 2012!
