Maven unequivocally condemns Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s unprovoked and unwarranted attack on free and independent Ukraine. Since 2009, Maven has based significant operations in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv. We stand by our Ukrainian colleagues and friends, as well as all Ukrainians, in their struggle against Russia’s criminal efforts to conquer their territory and rob them of their right to self-determination.
Ukraine’s history has been rife with atrocities inflicted on the Ukrainian people by its neighbor to the east, including the infamous Holodomor genocide, during which millions of Ukrainians were starved to death by the Soviet regime in 1932 and 1933. That a modern democracy recognized as a free and independent state by every country in the world could once again subjected to Russian atrocities is thoroughly unacceptable. We urge the United Nations, NATO, the European Union, and all who believe in a people’s right to self-determination to stand up to Putin’s aggression and restore Ukraine’s freedom.
Effectively immediately, Maven will not transact business with any Russian or Belarusian companies or citizens. Russian and Belarusian nationals will not be permitted to participate in our service, and no payments will be sent to Russia or Belarus for past services rendered. These restrictions will remain in effect until Russia fully withdraws all forces from Ukraine, formally recognizes Ukraine’s sovereignty, and pledges to never again violate Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
