April was a busy month at Maven. We added some great new features to our platform (including the ability to connect your LinkedIn profile), brought on a bunch of new customers, and picked the winner of our iPad giveaway.
We also completed the latest installment of our 2012 Presidential Election tracking Survey, expanded our charitable efforts, and shared the story of a Maven who has found a major full-time consulting gig through our platform.
Here is the latest…
Connect with LinkedIn
Did you know you can now connect your Maven and LinkedIn accounts? This is a great way to optimize your Maven profile and build your Maven Network. There are two ways you can leverage your LinkedIn account to maximize your opportunities to profit from Maven:
1. Sync your employment history to beef up your Maven Profile:
2. Invite your LinkedIn Connections to join Maven and earn Referral Commissions.
And the Winner Is…
Last month we told you about our plans to give away a new iPad to a lucky Maven with over 50 connections in their Maven Network. We’re pleased to announce that Demi Pietchell (Maven 220216) was selected as our winner.
Demi is an online marketing Maven located in West Palm Beach, Florida. She joined Maven back in early February and has built up 97 connections so far, including business contacts in 16 countries and 41 different industries! Her contacts have received a combined 69 invitations to consult so far through Maven, and Demi recently earned her first Referral Commission.
Give Maven a Try
Finally, have you had the chance to use Maven yet? Maven’s Global Knowledge Marketplace is available to all professionals as a resource for answering pressing questions and addressing business challenges of all sizes. We provide the world’s only comprehensive platform for finding, engaging, and compensating experts for sharing their knowledge with people like you. You can literally buy as little as a few minutes of an expert’s time… or as much as a few months’ worth if you need a full-time consultant.
Search our global network and launch new expert requests directly from your Maven Dashboard. Give it a shot – I’ll bet you find some interesting results!
As always, let me know if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for how we can make Maven better.
