We’re pleased to announce a great new feature to help you promote your participation in Maven and build your Maven Network. You might recall that we recently added the ability to activate a “public” Maven Profile. Taking that concept a step further, we recently introduced “Connect with Me on Maven” buttons. For example, you can connect with our CEO, Wyatt Nordstrom, by clicking on this button:

Connect with me on Maven

You can use your button on your personal website, blog, online forums and/or email signature to advertise your presence on Maven and generate new network connections. Anyone clicking on the button will see your profile and be able to ask you to connect with them (you will still have the ability to reject connection requests, just like you currently do).

Here’s how to get your button:

  1. Click here
  2. Copy one of the code snippets displayed. There are a few options available depending on where you want to use your button (website, online forum, etc.)
  3. Use the code to add your button to your desired location.

That’s it! Once you’ve posted your button somewhere, anyone clicking on it will be connected with you on Maven.
