Quality Assurance Practices in Big-Box Retail


I would like to speak with someone who is familiar with typical return-to-vendor (RTV) targets and Quality Assurance (QA) best practices in Retail Home Improvement sector. In particular, I would like to learn more about how companies predict failure modes for new products, and percentage of new product returns to vendor (RTV) specifically for home products category including pumps, vanities, and ceiling fans. Overall, I would like to discuss methodologies to achieve best in class return rates for different product categories and how this is benchmarked across other world-class suppliers in categories.
